Taipei is one long jet-lagged flight away from where we rest our head, but if you are on the island of Taiwan this Saturday night there is a good art show to check out. Graffiti writers, Optimist and Stuey, will be showing new work at the AMPM Gallery in a show entitled Time Flies in Taipei. Optimist sent over a video and some exclusive preview shots of work that will be on display. Go!

The fire extinguisher prankster who has been blasting the storefronts of many known high end fashion boutiques in frustration of a culture becoming commercialized, recently decorated the store front of Marc Jacobs with the word “art” in Soho, Ny. In a crafty retaliation, Marc Jacobs printed the image of the storefront on a t-shirt and is now retailing them for $689, with a “Kidult signed” t-shirt being a little cheaper for the consumer, ouch.

The Next stop on the bus will be Nekst burgers and shakes. Nice window advertisement placement in Chi-Town.

The prolific two letter bombing legend, MQ, along side New York rapper, Skam Dust, sent over this photo of a recent spot paying tribute to the recent passing of Beastie Boys member Adam “MCA” Yauch.

Sever recently stirred up emotions and opinions with his coffin street art piece in Detroit, which we thought was a humorous little jab. He knocked out these two spots with style in Detroit as well.

Mesnger lends a hand with Fword’s “W” and “O” by painting a character throwing up a “Westside” and making an “O” face. Looks like a legal wall, but I bet you it is not!
