Ink Stories: The Apprentice, Daniel Ronson
What a good perspective to start a tattoo documentary series. Not with the legend of the game, but with an up-and-coming apprentice. Ink Stories kicked off their tattoo series following Daniel Ronson, an apprentice at Jayne Doe studio in London, as he talks about following the history of tattooing and making his own way in the industry. And he paints a lot.

One of our favorite NYC-based artists, Wes Lang, is set to open a new solo show, Here Comes Sunshine, at the Lower East Side's Half Gallery this May 17, 2012. We follow Lang's blog closely, and he is good about updating it with oldies and newbies, and we recommend spending some time looking at his Americana meets tattoo meets stream of consciousness. And it is always good.

Zombie Boy by Terry Richardson
As you happen to know, Zombie Boy, aka Rick Genest, is a model who also has every-inch of his body covered in tattoos. Mr Boy has become a bit of a cult-figure in recent years, and he stopped by the studios of Terry Richardson recently to recreate a few famed Terry poses and smile a bit.

Tonight marks the opening Neon Knightsby Lango Olivera and Henry Lewis at 111 Minna Gallery, and we have your exclusive preview images after the jump. Lewis is one of San Francisco's most accomplished tattoo artists, while Lango, a tattooist himself, is one of the most skilled graffiti/muralists we have had in the magazine in the past few months (he was part of the November 2011 Pushead curated issue).
