HUF presents an exclusive capsule collection celebrating the work and legacy of the late American fantasy artist Frank Frazetta, in partnership with Frazetta Girls.
Brooklyn-born Frank Frazetta is often recognized as the most emulated fantasy artist in the genre's history. Beginning his career as a comic illustrator at age 15, Frazetta's lifelong practice shaped popular and underground visual landscapes through such works as a 1964 satirical portrait of Ringo Starr for Mad Magazine, iconic interpretations of Tarzan and Conan, and his own famed 'Death Dealer' character.
Drawing from the artist's extensive archive, the HUF x Frazetta collaboration collects a selection of original works featured on outerwear, fleece, tees, hats, and accessories paying homage to vintage heavy metal—a genre with record covers and band paraphernalia often showcasing Frazetta's illustrations.
A lookbook featuring the band L.A. Witch showcases the capsule from inside of a downtown Los Angeles warehouse, shot by photographer Robb Klassen.
The HUF x Frazetta Collaboration is now available at HUF flagship stores and online shop, and select retailers worldwide.
