During Italian architect and designer Aldo Rossi's lifetime he accomplished the unusual feat of achieving international recognition in four distinct areas: theory, drawing, architecture and product design and winning the Pritzker Prize in 1990. Modscape, the makers of sustainable, look-pretty-epic prefab and modular buildings, created this stunning concept design for a "Cliff House." From the looks of it, the home just dives off the cliff over the ocean. They call the design concept a "theoretical response to clients who have approached Modscape to explore design options for extreme parcels of coastal land in Australia."

A new series is always a pleasure from Italian illustrator Federico Babina. Here he has spliced 25 world-famous paintings, from artists including Picasso, Mondrian and Dalí, with buildings by the 20th century's most prolific architects.

Apart from being an artist, Pedro Friedeberg has also invented several styles of architecture, one new religion and two salads. He was born in Italy and now lives in Mexico where he works to criticize the absurdity of things through his paintings, sculpture, design, furniture and architectural fantasies. Pedro was featured in the December 2011 issue of Juxtapoz Magazine.

We are always happy to see Frederico Babina’s artsy and colorful collections combing architectural elements and inviting themes. “Archimusic” is another contemporary approach to transform 27 popular songs by David Bowe, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, The White Stripes, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart…to name a few, into graphic design. Representing the horizon with a music stanza, the composition morphs together displaying a fun illustrative building idea to represent many musicians.

Bus stops are rather mundane, and turning them into public art projects is something cities have done for years to make them more appealing. Mostly, they just become advertisement centers for upcoming summer blockbusters. In Krumbach, Austia, a selection of renowned international architects turned 7 bus stops into mini-design projects. Some bizarre, some functional, some just a nice place to sit and look at a field.
