We are so excited to have the J Dilla vinyl figure by Pay Jay sitting in our office today, especially because the first edition has completely sold out! But have no fear, the second edition is in the making. Here is the lowdown The J Dilla Figure is an official Pay Jay Productions release, produced under the oversight of the Estate of James Yancey. The Figure was conceived and rendered by Detroit artist Sintex, designed and sculpted by Seoul-based toy artist P2PL. It was manufactured by Blitzway on behalf of Pay Jay. It is a collaborative release with Stussy, whose logo is officially licensed.

We have been having a great time looking through all the award winners and finalists that are part of the A'Design Awards. In summary "In a world where there are millions of products and designs launch each year, the award was born out of the desire to underline the best designs and well designed products." Today, we look at some really awesome ideas for public furniture, a great base for city planners to change the way we situate ourselves in a city.

One of our favorite artists and graphic designers, Jean Jullien, is getting ready to open a solo show at London's Kemistry Gallery on December 4, 2014. We are going to be in Miami Beach at that time, but if we lived the cross-continental life. we would be cruising over to England to check it out. Well actually we do live that sort of life so someone on staff will check it out. Stay tuned for a Juxtapoz print edition feature with Jullien in the coming months!

Celebrating the intersection between fashion, art, and music, Adidas and HVW8 just opened an exhibition tokick off the release of new artwork on Seeley and Adi Ease styles from two of the designers Kevin Lyons and Jean André.The show is now open at HVW8 in LA through December 28, 2014.

PUBLIC WORK is the first exhibition to focus exclusively on L.A. based artist Peter Shire’s public and private architectural commissions. Executed over the course of three decades, the architectural works demonstrate Shire’s understanding of the formal principles of twentieth-century art and architecture collided with his interrogations of popular culture and the vocabulary of visual design. A few days ago, our friends at Juxtapoz Latin America had the opportunity to visit the studio of designers and artists, Morning Breath in Brooklyn. Established in 2002, Doug Cunningham and Jason Noto have developed a very distinctive art style that has led to work in the industries of skateboarding, snowboarding, clothing, advertising, posters, music and more. They have worked with Juxtapoz in the past on both a special print release and magazine feature.
