HERAKUT is a German artist duo made up of Jasmin Siddiqui, aka 'Hera' and Falk Lehmann, aka 'Akut.' Throughout more than ten years of collaboration, the two have merged their individual approaches influenced by graffiti and street art. Their exhibition, Flaw Circus,opening at Ruttkowski;68 Gallery in Cologne, Germany on Friday, August 29, 2014, presents Herakut's most conscious outlooks on the world based on the experiences they have accumulated.

LeBasse Projects just opened its first in a series of exhibitions in Asia by presenting German duo Herakut in a collaboration with JOYCE, a pioneer in luxury retail. JOYCE was the first to discover and introduce international fashion designers to Hong Kong in 1971 and today collaborates with the world’s most talented creatives to provide a personalized and unique edit of the very best fashion and artistic collections. This show launches the opening of the new JOYCE Shanghai flagship store.

The words "My superhero power is forgiveness" accompany the image of a young character with darts in their legs wearing a large bird headdress. The stunning mural was painted by the artist duo, Herakut, in Mannheim, Germany in part of an ongoing children’s book project the two are working on.

The German artist duo, Herakut, are currently in Johannesburg, South Africa where they created this large in mural in conjunction with the City of Gold event. A portrait of a kid with a lions face over their head and the words "You Can Not Catch Me So Just Let Me Be" can be seen with this new wall.

In part of an ongoing mural series that introduces a set of characters for a future children’s book, Germany-based duo, Herakut, have painted another portion (This being the ninth mural) in Melbourne, Australia. “The Giant Storybook Project” is the title for this set of murals and this new wall includes the text “"So she dreamt of running away with monkeys. The most Curious just tended to be the most courageous."

Next Monday, October 29th, we are set to premier the documentary filmed during the work made for one of 2012's best street art festivals, All City Canvas Mexico City. We were lucky enough to be in Mexico City for the majority of the festival, and were able to see importrant and historical districts of the city transformed by some of the best talents in contemporary muralism and street art.

Earlier this year, our good friends, the German art duo of Herakut, collaborated on a special project with the performers from Lucent Dossier in The Lucent Dossier Experience – When Lucent Found Herakut at the downtown Los Angeles space, the Palace Theater. The collaborative project brought together acrobats, contortionists, aerial dancers, stilt walkers with Herakut's art. And now, we have a video of the project...

The German Duo know as, Herakut, opened their show After The Laughter at Shea & Ziegler last night in Mayfair, London. The show consisted of a new collection of original paintings, drawings and sculptures, alongside a book signing. Show runs through June 10, 2012.
