In the December 2014 issue, we did a mini-feature on British artist Lucy McLauchlan's beautiful new show at Lazarides in London. What we never showed you was Lucy's gigantic new mural she painted in Guangzhou, China right after the show opened in London. A great video was made to document the making of the mural.

Lucy McLauchlan has always been one of the most talented muralist that we know, as well as fine artists who also creates site-specific works that seemlessly fit into their environments. Her newest project, a site-specific work of multiple panels in the rotunda of Europe's largest library, the new Library of Birmingham.

In the Azores? On the Azores? On the Azores Islands? In the Azores volcanic island chain? We are struggling with this at the moment. Regardless, we began this post to show what UK-based Lucy McLauchlan created while in the Azores this past July for the Walk & Talk Azores festival. Her work, as you can see, fit seamlessly amongst the aged buildings and narrow streets.

Juxtapoz friend and Birmingham, UK-based fine artist Lucy McLauchlan will be opening a new exhibition, Holding onto Fragments of Past Memories, at Triumph Gallery in Moscow, Russia on March 22, 2013. You get that Google Map program out and get yourself sorted.

For the past 3 years, as the art world has descended upon London for the Frieze Art Fair, Lazarides Gallery has descended below the city streets to put on Bedlam, in our opinion one of the best exhibitions a non-fair can offer in a during a heavily Art Fair environment. For the third and final year, Bedlam is being held in the Old Vic Tunnels, and we went to investigate.
