This past weekend we stopped by Known Gallery to check out Aaron Rose’s Fire Sale. When Rose moved to Los Angeles from NYC in 2001, the Beautiful Losers curator left a "big black box of 1990?s memories" in storage space in Glendale. Now he is having a gallery style fire sale. One of Los Angeles biggest names, Mister Cartoon, who brought a mix of graffiti, muralist, and tattoo work to MOCA's Art In the Streets, was captured by Off the Wall TV for this nice profile on the artist. We love the Ice Cream Truck, a big part of our 15th Anniversary Show in Los Angeles was based around that icon.

Juxtapoz were esteemed guests at the premiere of Alex Stapleton's documentary, the Levis' presents, "Outside In: The Story of Art In the Streets" at Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood this past Tuesday evening. The film captured the making of the MOCA's "Art In the Streets "exhibition that opened last month in LA.
