Slowtide and Artestar announce that they are joining forces to launch a capsule collection paying tribute to Keith Haring’s iconic works. The collaborative line up features 11 towels, 4 blankets, a bathrobe and a changing poncho. All the pieces feature Haring’s signature motifs on sustainably sourced fabrics.
As a pioneer of New York street art in the 80’s, Haring is known for his bold, energetic line drawings. Haring began using white chalk to draw on the blank, matte black paper of empty advertisement slots in the New York City subway system. He broke barriers in the art world by making his art accessible to a wider audience through public installations and affordable merchandise. Today, his work has now found it’s newest canvas on a variety of eco-friendly towels, blankets, robes and changing ponchos.
