Something we can all aim for, with a goal to “help people realize the power they have and create real change for people, communities and the environment,” Old Pal Provisions partners with Los Angeles’s Subliminal Projects for a pop-up to inaugurate their Legalize Humanity Campaign. Old Pal will donate a portion of all merchandise sales to benefit non-profit organizations that work to empower society’s most vulnerable and to support basic human rights.

To kick off the campaign, Subliminal Projects hosts a week-long group exhibition that celebrates humanitarian principles by bringing together artists and art lovers, anchored in empathy and inspiring each other to stand up and take action. Contributing artists include Buckley, Camilla Engstrom, Ed Templeton, Evan Hecox, Hilda Palafox, LANDPetecia Le Fawnhawk-Maggiori, Sofia Enriquez, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, and more!

As the campaign's first beneficiary, RAICES (the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services) will receive a portion of all proceeds to support their mission to promote justice and defend the rights of immigrants and refugees. Subliminal Projects and Old Pal Provisions opens the Legalize Humanity group exhibition on February 1, 2020, with an opening reception from 7 to 10 pm, and is on view through February 8, 2020.
