Back in 2020, when we first reported that Banksy had begun to fund the M.V. Louise Michel, a rescue vessel in the Mediterranean Sea, we hadn't become quite aware of the increasingly shameful breaking of international law and human rights violations taking place at the southern border of Europe. What we know now as we approach 2024, is that it's one of the deadliest border crossings in the world, and the Banksy funded boat, named after a French feminist anarchist, is still doing rotations every few months, saving lives and trying to avert maritime disasters.

Now, to draw some new awareness to the boat and the continued efforts, Banksy has designed two t-shirts and a patch set now on sale at Shop.mvlouisemichel.org. As the site says, all sales directly support the ongoing work of Louise Michel, in Solidarity and Resistance. Great cause. Get them now.
