In what will be the most talked about and visited shows of the year if not the decade, a collection of 400 works of one of the world's most famed artist, David Hockney, is about to open in Paris at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. David Hockney 25 will bring together works from 1955 to 2025, from his landscapes in Yorkshire, figurative works in Los Angeles, the iPad paintings, the rural French works, photography, video, drawings, and the list goes on. Hockney is one of those names that is synonymous with art-making, a name so famed that one could have an opinion of his works without having seen one in person. But what he means to us is an artist with a constant fervor for making, for creating, a full 70+ years of a career that just doesn't and shouldn't feel willing to quit.
