We closed down our special pop-up exhibition, Juxtapoz x Superflat, but we have a few more installation views and artist talk photos to share including works by Takashi Murakami, Todd James, and more.

With co-curation by Takashi Murakami, we had the opportunity to share some of our favorite artists who we feel are working with some incredible background stories, materials, and creative energies with some of Takashi's favorite artists working within the same vein. There was nothing more exciting than to see a Mark Ryden, Urs Fischer, Rebecca Morgan, Friedrich Kunath, Toliet Paper Magazine, and Zoer & Velvet all in the same room. Or to have experimental ceramic works from Otani Workshop, Yuji Ueda, and Kazunori Hamana in the same room as Paco Pomet, Todd James, Erin M Riley, and Trenton Doyle Hancock, to just name a few. Or to have a grand new work by Takashi Murakami and Kazumi Nakamura next to three magnificent sculpture pieces by Elisabeth Higgins O'Connor just made the show diverse and fun, it was exactly what we had hoped would happen when the show was first conceived.

Make sure you pick up a copy of the new September issue, with interviews about the show and cover art by James Jean.
