HEY SEATTLE FRIENDS!!! On Friday, August 5 at 7PM, our good friend, hip-hop artist and contributor Aesop Rock will curate a special playlist for "Juxtapoz x Superflat" for your listening pleasure and art viewing companionship. The exhibition itself opens on August 4th, but on the 5th we are going to have a little hangout and opening from 7—11PM at Pivot Art & Culture. Aesop will not be DJing or performing, just curating a playlist and hanging out to enjoy the opening. Like us. So come by! 
The exhibition was co-curated by Takashi Murakami and Juxtapoz Editor, Evan Pricco.
Artists selected to appear in the show by Murakami include: Chiho Aoshima, Urs Fischer, Kim Jung Gi, Kazunori Hamana, James Jean, JH Kagaku, Friedrich Kunath, Takashi Murakami, Kazumi Nakamura, Otani Workshop, Mark Ryden, David Shrigley, Katsuya Terada, a selection from Toilet Paper Magazine, Yuji Ueda, Yuji Ueno, He Xiang Yu, and Zoer & Velvet. Artists selected by Pricco include Trenton Doyle Hancock, Todd James, Austin Lee, Rebecca Morgan, Elisabeth Higgins O’Connor, Paco Pomet, Parra, Christian Rex van Minnen. Erin M.
