David Shrigley and the "Copenhagen Prints" Sounds LIke a Good Band Name and Also the Name of His New Show
Jealous East, London // May 16, 2024 - June 01, 2024
David Shrigley has been working with Schäfer Editions in Copenhagen for quite some time, and it seemed that it was time to showcase those works... in London. Jealous Gallery is hosting over 20 years of works from the British artist (and Juxtapoz cover artist and Radio Juxtapoz guest) in Copenhagen Prints, a short-run exhibition of over 40 works created in those decades. The show features various techniques, including etching, woodcut, and lino printing. Shrigley himself has a bunch of things going on in Copenhagen, too, at the moment, including a solo show we reported on earlier this year, and his Shrig Shop is also there. So go to London and Copenhagen is the point here.
