When we posted about Jeremy Miranda's solo show at Dianna Witte in Toronto, Roots and Crowns, this weekend on our Instagram account, there was a comment that simply read, "This is dream state." And how perfectly stated. Miranda immerses us in two vantage points; in the midst of the forest and in front of the sea. You can almost taste the air, smell the scene. They are dreamlike in that the natural world can almost be too perfect, too much to comprehend and its healing powers so strong that it overwhelms. The works abstracted parts only enhance this, this idea that the idea of nature is just too big. You want to stay awhile in these works. —Evan Pricco
